Mexico v USA, Bosnia v Russia in the All Nations Cup Semifinals

All Nations Cup Quarterfinals ended Wednesday, July 26 with a tense Peru Bosnia overtime showdown. Although Peru pushed Bosnia to the limit they could not prevent Bosnia from scoring five minutes before the second overtime whistle, resulting in a 3-2 Bosnia victory bringing Bosnian fans to elation. Joining Bosnia in the Semifinals Thursday, July 27, are fellow Quarterfinal winner, Mexico, USA, and Russia. To earn their place in the Semifinals Mexico defeated Colombia 2-1, USA edged out Brazil 3-1 in a classic thriller, and Russia shutout Gambia 4-0The first Semifinal, Mexico verses USA kicks off tonight at 6:30pm, with the Russia verses Bosnia scheduled to begin at 8:30pm. With all four team fighting for their spot in the All Nations Cup Championship Match, this Saturday, July 29, the action is sure to be fast and fierce. Championship Games Day draws All Nations Cup to a conclusion Saturday with a 1pm All Star Game, featuring the star players from each of the 34 eliminated teams, followed by the 3pm Third Place Match. The Championship Match kicks off at 6pm, with award-winning Brazilian composer Jovino Santos Neto and his Banda Alecrim headlining the Closing Celebrations scheduled to start at 8pm. KEXP Dj Derek Mazzone is also scheduled to spin between matches.
